Sales & Service Learning Center at Westfield Connecticut
Post is the first National Retail Federation Foundation
(NRFF) affiliated Skills Center in Connecticut. The Center
focuses on meeting the needs of retail and related
industries and providing long-term career opportunities for
job seekers. Since the first Retail Skills Center opened in
June 1997 at the Mall & Court at King of Prussia near
Philadelphia, PA more than 25,000 people have been served
and over 5,500 potential retail employees have found jobs
through the NRFF Skills Center network.
Skills
Centers are recruitment, training and placement facilities.
Along with customer service and industry-specific training,
centers offer computer and classroom instruction including
English as a Second Language and career counseling. The
Centers also offer the industry endorsed National
Professional Certification in Customer Service and the
new National Professional Certifications in Sales and
Retail Management, credentials that recognizes
excellence in customer service, sales and retail management
skills.

Connecticut Retail Merchants Association’s Charitable and
Educational Foundation is the charitable and
educational arm of the Connecticut Retail Merchants
Association, created in March of 2003. The Foundation
promotes professional development and excellence in retail
and related sales, customer service and management. The
CRMA Foundation is non-profit as designated under section
501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
